Dorca Deveau
(1945-2008)
Dorca M. King, 63, of Moncton, passed away at
The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Born in
Acadieville on July 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late
Alcime and Marie-Jeanne (Daigle) Deveau (August 2, 2008).
Dorca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,
attended West Lane Baptist Church and was a long time member of
The Church of Nazarene. Dorca will be sadly missed by her
husband, David King; son, Michael Estey (Rachel), Quebec City;
daughter, Debbie Douthwright (Todd), Riverview; grandchildren,
Haily-Ann, Adele, Morgyn, Molly; sisters, Julienne Deveau,
Thérèse Cormier (Normand), Carmella LeBlanc (Norman), Alice
Bastarache (Ovide), all of Moncton, Dionne Allain (Serge
Daigle), Riverview; brothers, Néri Deveau (Nélida), Rosaire
Deveau (Lucie), Hector Deveau, Clermont Deveau (Patsy), Gérard
Deveau (Joanne), Livain Deveau, all of Moncton, Yvon Deveau
(Sylvia), Notre Dame; several nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents; predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Estey (September
29, 1997); brother, Joseph; and sister, Bernice.
No visitation by personal request. Celebration
of Life Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel,
Saturday, August 16, 2008, 1:00 pm, Rev. Scott Ryder
officiating. Reception following the service. Interment,
Acadieville, NB. In Dorca's memory, donations to the West Lane
Baptist Church Sound System Fund would be appreciated.
